Service Description
For dogs over 18 Months. Or those who have completed the Awesome Acorn Criteria or other puppy classes. Classes for complete beginners We will work through: Lead walking Recall Leave it Settle Sit Down Stay Focus Self control Building confidence Polite Greetings Working around distractions and any other areas of concern you have. Please note these aren't socialisation classes as such. I don't advocate dog socialisation classes as I think they can be rather intense for dogs that lack confidence, and can encourage puppies and young dogs to say hello to EVERY dog they meet. I prefer they learn to ignore and listen to you in such environments as that's what is expected from them in future.  You can work towards the Awesome Acorn Journey Award (only if you want to), which cover what I consider to be key skills for dogs to have.  Classes will be held outside or inside depending on weather. Classes are 5 dogs per class.
